Borla S type Axle Back Rattle
Hi,
I just installed a Borla S type Axle Back on my ZL1 and am getting a rattling sound from the drivers side valve when open and closed. Has anybody experienced this? |

Check to make sure the valve isn't loose. If the valve isnt lose and working fine make sure the muffler isn't hitting the heat shield above it.

The valve is tight. I checked and don't see any clearance issues. I am gonna contact Borla tomorrow. This should not be happening with expensive mufflers like this

Spoke to Borla they are sending me a new valve. Hopefully this fixes the issue.

The best thing about Borla NPP is that they are the only ones you don't have to replace the whole muffler if you have a issue with the NPP valve. Actually it's a smart design compared to the others
