Wife drives camaro for first time

I have owned my 2019 camaro for two and half years and I have tried numerous times to get my wife behind the wheel. The last week of March I had surgery on my right foot which is in a boot and non- weight bearing till May 24th. My camaro sat in the garage for the first four weeks so I asked my to pull it out of the garage and let's take it for a drive. It was all highway driving around 40 miles so I took this picture I noticed a little smile on my wife's face, that made my day.

My wife is 4'11" and refused to drive ours for 3 months. Now she's all "going grocery shopping, bye" and I look out the window and see our Equinox still in the driveway and my Camaro gone...

Groceries, uh huh.

2 years and 3 months and my wife hasn't driven my SS yet... I did let my youngest daughter (18) drive it for a few minutes in an industrial park about 6 months ago, pissed off the wife and older daughter (22)! LOL!

Probably need to let the wife drive it soon... Maybe...

Cool, but for the next pic, instead of 0, the speedo should be reading this:

Always good to see a smile like that! When I let my mum drive my car she was very happy!

I got mine in Dec 2019 and my wife hasn't been checked out in it yet, nor does she even want to be! She's only ridden in it less than a dozen times too! Not her thing!

I've owned my 5th gen for over 10 years now and my wife has no interest in driving it. Kind of wish she could share my love for the Camaro so it's good you got your wife behind the wheel. Did she complain about visibility?
My 10 year old son can't wait to drive it. That might be a problem.

I'm a petite 5'3" and I was really worried about visibility before buying. Never even sat in a Camaro after the 4th Gen. I have no major complaints about visibility. Could it be better in the c-pillar area... sure. But you get your side mirrors to just grace the hips and lean around to view your blind-spots better, it's not terrible. IMO. And my seat is all the way raised, lol. I will say I'm sure grateful for the rear-view mirror camera when backing up though. Which I don't think all models have. It is tough for me to clutch and do the arm behind the pass-seat to actually look back to reverse.

As the wife who ordered and bought the Camaro with the husband who told me to buy a Dodge... his mind is officially changed and wants to dive it as much as I do. Says, I done did good

My gf wants to drive the one I ordered still being built. She thinks I'm kidding when I tell her she won't be driving it ever.

My wife says she doesn't want to drive it when I finally get it. We'll see how long that lasts because I hear stories of her driving her brother's Mustang years ago.

My wife doesn't like driving mine, says it's too much of a beast. She drives a Honda Odyssey LOL.

When I had my '00 Z28 M6 my wife had no problem when she needed to drive it, but this one might be a different story. That being said, I can't wait to see her face the first time she gets behind the wheel.
