For what was paid, these deformities should be none existent and day 2, still no response to my email from AAC on the issue.

I totally agree! The look so good lit up on the car, but I can't stomach the price for that quality.

The tool has been examined and is fine. This seems to be a temp issue, some noticeable shrinkage. Its not uncommon to see a small amount of shrinkage in these areas that are usually worked out when prepped for paint. This is way more noticeable than we would usually see.

To answer your question we did not comment on this thread because we don't search the boards looking for threads to comment on. We did not see this until it was sent to us. We are here to help but we were not notified of any problem.

You are right, this one got by us for sure. Its inexcusable and we are looking forward to resolving this matter with the OP as soon as we have their information.
Thank you for reply.
I'll send you a PM with my information. Hopefully we can get this taken care of.

I have the painted with tint... Mine all have some kind of dimple, I don't really mind them as it's not noticeable but on the left rear it doesn't have enough curve to fit perfectly flush in the bumper and on the right rear some of the primer? or small piece wasn't painted making it look like stuck on wax in the crevice.

Man, this forum could take down a whole product line if the QA isn't on point!

It's clipped in all the way and goes flush in the center. So I don't think mine was formed properly, It needs to have a slight curve to the exterior surface to blend in to the bumper which this doesn't seem to have...

It's a small annoyance, But for high $300s it's kind of disappointing.

Has anyone else received an email from AAC. They said they will replace any side markers that I am not happy with. They even sent me an RMA number to send them back. I wrote back to see what issues they will fix. I also have that white area on one of mine and also one that doesn't seem to fit quite right. I'm not sure why I got this email because I didn't send anything to them about these issues. So I'm thinking they are send the out to all early adopters.

I pick mine up next Thursday in Detroit, Mich.. I live in Canada, so I have to clear Customs etc.... If mine have these imperfections, it's a pretty big pain to import and re-export. I did e-mail AAC yesterday, and asked what could be done if I opened them (and there were imperfections), prior to bringing them back to Canada - I would simply prefer to send them back and avoid all the hassles. I did not receive a response as of yet. I do understand it is the Holidays, so I am hoping to get some direction in the next few days. Really have my fingers crossed that I open these and they are what I expected.....

So back to your original question SimMan. Yes, I was one of the early adopters, and no I have not received anything from AAC.

So if I wanted to get replacements for my rear (white spot and not molded to sit flush) I'd have to send them in first and wait 3 weeks again it sounds...

Too much of a hassle to put it all back to stock then wait a long time again to do it all over again... guess I'll just refrain from buying from AAC and Oracle ever again.

At the end of the day. Someone looked at these and said they were good to ship.
Launching a new product, the first release and this is what was acceptable to ship.

Lets hope next spring they have the bugs worked out.
