I absolutely hate the new Word Mobile horseshit on Win10. I think I will reinstall win7. As a side note I edited the install guide (larger lettering + bigger pics) and will have the pdf in about 30 minutes or so.

The new blade spoiler WILL use the EXISTING holes left from the SS wing AND also requires you to drill MORE holes.

It is a 3 piece item. 2 spoiler extension (sides) which you GLUE on the vehicle, does also have strips for extra adhesives AND the mid spoiler part (the long one in the middle) which uses the same holes as the SS spoiler but also requires you to drill more holes).

I am converting the instructions to PDF so I can post it up on this thread AND under "how-to", GM instructions WITH pictures (not real life pics of the vehicle but drawing of the vehicle).
Jesus, why does this thing have to mount in a way that only a nuke attack will dislodge it lol?

Overall, great news though!

good point, and the sides are only stuck on with glue.

I'll have to look at why it "needs" glue. I really would rather use the 3M automotive adhesive tape. Which isn't permanent, and is used to hold various things on cars heavier and larger then these spoiler end caps...

...and I was just thinking, if this blade spoiler supposedly covers all the mounting holes left by the stock SS wing, how come if you order it on your car the car is sent (from what I just read) with a non SS wing? Why wouldn't they just leave it as is if no holes will show?

Seems fishy...

My guess would be because it's 1) cheaper to give you a non SS wing 2) maybe the same bolt holes are on the non SS wing so it is quicker and easier for the dealer to install the new blade spoiler. I know I wouldn't want the dealer drilling new holes in my trunk if I could avoid it.

Just a few guesses.

Good point with this, probably to make it easier on the dealer...
