It is a Nova, early versions even came with a v-6 in a SS and yes that's a Nova Chevy 2 the second body style, a third body style for the Nova was its limit for looks and then it got MER , also they made clones by brand GM given the NOVA name the Nova, the Omega, the Ventura, and the Apollo....just a old fact for yah....

The "Nova" was the top of the line Chevy II. As the linked site above states you had the 100 Series, 300 Series and Nova 400 Series. Much like the "shoebox" Chevies (55-57) where there was the 150, 210 and "Bel Air" at the the top of the line.
BTW there was no V6 in a Chevy II/Nova until 1975, 1st through 3rd gens would of had a straight 6.
