They should just put the 2016-18 SS front fascia back on and call it a day. Now the front looks like a mess. The best idea would have been to improve on the 16-18 SS fascia — keep it similar just a few minor adjustments to keep it fresh.

A guy at work said there was a Camaro commercial during the NBA Finals last night. I asked if the Loch Ness Monster also made an appearance.

Scat Pack Challengers get 245s all the way around...

For the LT1, probably shop eBay for SS take-off wheels & tires (might find rears to match the front wheels' style, but sporting 275 rubber.

I bought a set of 2019 take-off wheels for my 2017.

I have a 17, thinking about getting a 20, if I do I will first take off my 17' grill and put it on my 2020. I will then take the 2020 grill to the city dump.

Thank the lord. It is hard to believe GM did any type of consumer testing on the 19 front end to have to change something like that.. albeit minor, a huge improvement.

So, the LT1 is basically an LT model with a hood vent + The SS engine, and performance features. All for just $3000 less, (really more because dealers charge well)

Let me ask a question, which do you prefer? The LT1, or the New SS?

Where did you see this? Ship weight of a base 1SS is 3,594 pounds with about 2 gallons of fuel. I don't see the 1LT with a ship weight that's more than a 1SS but it won't be hundreds lighter either. A V6 1LT with 20" wheels has a ship weight of just under 3400 pounds. The LGX V6 is about 70 pounds lighter than the LT1.

Curb weight or GVWR? Curb weight for a 2017 SS Cpe is 3697 AT, 3685 MT. That would make the LT1 at least 66 lbs lighter than a 1SS

I used your website:

https://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NA...&page=&butID=9

……………..LT1.........1SS...……..2SS
M6 ……..3619........3685...…...3696
A10......3681...…...3747...…...3757

66# lighter than the 1SS and 77# lighter than the 2SS.
Unless I'm reading the page wrong.

I was hoping for about a 200# difference....

I'm looking at the ship weight that is on the invoice of the cars. I was comparing a no option 1SS to a base 1LT V6 with just 20" wheels as an option.

I believe GM's curb weight includes a full tank of fuel but I might be wrong.

Full tank of gas and washer fluid.

So you do your typical weight cut. Wheels etc

The coolers and cladding are shit that you’re not typically removing from SS cars. So it’s a decent reduction
