Getting to the back of the grille without removing the front bumper

Please tell me there's a way to get to the back of the grille without removing the front bumper.

I have a flow tie and I'd like to install it without removing the front bumper.

If you have a 5th gen, you can slip your hand in the hood release hole.

Metal bracket above hoodlatch comes off which will allow some hand room.

The black metal panel that surrounds the hood latch comes off, there are I think 3-4 bolts and some push pins and then you just slip it backwards and out, install in the reverse fashion. Piece of cake. I had to do that to remove my bowtie from my Heritage grille.

Yep what he said, on my 2010 2SS/RS I change the Bow Tie and eliminated the RS Emblem in the grill. Took the top panel off, snuck my hand in there and....

Ok honestly eventually after scraping the chit out of my hand I just said @&#* it and I just man handled it off (aka ripped it off) from upfront.
Worked for me but I'd go from behind if possible, LOL ....

Any videos of this method you mention to get behind the grille?
