I was waiting you to poke your head out of the bushes. Your switch seemed to get a bit more love than mine, must've picked the wrong color.

I like it. But why the switch from an SS and what are the mid month changes?

Nice choice! It was a serious consideration for me as well, but I went with the Koreans. I really wanted AWD and the extra utility with the hatch.

Besides the Charger I also considered the CT4-V.

Did you look at anything else before deciding?

I got into my SS at a great price... with the crazy market I was able to not only drive the car for free, but I also received about a 16% return on my "investment". It is hard to argue/say no to that. Also, we are expecting a baby this October and I know that the Camaro will sit in the garage even more than it did previously. It wasn't a daily driver and the Charger won't be either... but there will at least be the ability to run the fun car out even with all 3 of us.

I haven't heard exactly what the mid-month changes are yet. And I should say Chrysler was planning to release some mid-month changes, not necessarily just Dodge. The car may have been affected, maybe not. With these market & production conditions, I wasn't willing to risk it any longer; the offers will not get better for quite some time.

No, not really any other options. I wanted to stick with the large displacement and something that looks nice enough that I don't feel like I'm driving a standard sedan. Torque & motor/exhaust noise make a big difference IMO. That was probably the thing I loved most about my 6.2 I had with the SS... and the color. I've had a twin turbo V6 AWD sedan in the past. It was fun but its just not the same to me.

Not a bad looking 4 door sedan, but not for me. Dodge is tops in colors IMHO. Congrats!!

It won't quite be the same taste as my SS but hopefully she is fun enough. Good thing is, I already having my boating license!
If you need a family hauler but still need the 12s 1/4 mile power and reasonable pricing, it’s one of the best options out there.

I traded in a Camaro RS (V6), so I'm used to 6 cylinder noises.

My biggest gripe with the Stinger is that the exhaust is too quiet. I know the turbos are partly to blame. Coming from the NPP exhaust on my Camaro, this thing is like half the volume. I'm probably gonna look for an aftermarket exhaust, or a muffler delete, after I break in the car more.
I'm good with the torque. When I take off from a stop light I'm already over the speed limit in like 3.5 seconds. I don't need any more power, for now...
