A gen 6 Camaro ZL1 or 1969 Yenko 427
if given the choice which one? I know the ZL1 blows most cars out of the water but a late 60s Yenko turns heads but is slower.
I think I'd go with the Yenko |

If you can afford the Yenko…..you can afford both

Hahahahah This! I dunno, I'd love a Yenko, but modern cars are wonders all their own as well. Ever driven a big block first gen? Makes a Hellcat a cornering machine :-) Skip the silly stuff anyhow I want a 67 L88 Vette |

More than likely the ‘69 Yenko!

Dealing with both on a daily basis i prefer a new zl1/1le. You will see 15 first gen camaros here before you see 1 6th gen zl1. Classic cars can be amazing to stare at all day long but daily driving one is awful

If we’re talking a real yenko and not a replica, take the yenko all day. From a practical standpoint could sell the yenko and get a zle, c8, and a truck and trailer to haul them with lol

I see more ZL1s than I do first gen Camaros, at least around here and I see VERY few ZL1 and SSs around here. Now minus the issue with the gas mileage and finding parts, why do you call them a daily driver as awful? |

Problem with an L88 Corvette is there is no damn way I'd chance it driving it on a public street anywhere! Only if I had a huge chunk of land with roads on it that's private and no other cars traveling on it. Unlike your typical modern super car the L88 wont depreciate in value it's so rare. Can only go up and up in value. |

As a daily Driver I would take my current 17 SS 6 speed all day. Its faster, more comfy, dependable and fun. As a hobby and carshow participant I would get a Yenko. I have had quite few classic vehicles I could have kept and they were seen everyday on the streets back in the 70s. 60s classic stuff. I knew the value they would later bring. I also knew the upkeep and insurance it would demand to hold onto these vehicles. I let them all go.

having driven classic cars for 25 year i can say i wouldnt go back.todays cars are much smoother, more powerful, get better mileage and have more comfort features.now when it comes to working on them, classic cars rule.no computers, scanners, etc.once you know the older cars they pretty much tell you when something is not right.my classic 60s cars were driven every day, rain or shine as i had no modern car.

I'd take the modern one every time. Classic cars are cool to me, but only that... Modern cars are better in every way.

Each has their own place. It would be fun though to get your teeth rattled every now and then with a 427 4sp but not everyday. A big block in any Gen 1 Camaro will assault your senses.

I do love the Yenko's but I think I would take the ZL1. The Yenko isn't something that I would want to drive everyday, especially if it were all original.

That's the fun part though. You feel it. Unlike these new cars that ride so smooth it doesn't even seem fast. Jay leno and Tim Allen riding in his 68 COPO |
