Bugs on Front Bumper

I've noticed anywhere I go, night or day, my front bumper is always covered in bugs when I get back. I went to Ohio today (3 hr) drive and its horrible now. It's not as bad on a short trip, but still very noticeable. Does anybody have tips/tricks for minimizing or even eliminating bugs from sticking, aside from bug and tar remover or washing? My truck doesn't get near the bugs the car gets.

Appreciate any feedback!

its just the nature of the beast.a good wax job will at least make it easier to remove them.its love bug season here in florida, the little bastids have to be removed within 12 hours or they etch paint permanently.i usually keep water in my wash bucket, use my sponge and scrub them off, then dry with chamois every time i pull into the garage.

It does seem to come off pretty easily, especially since I wax it all the time lol. I've been meaning to bring a rag and spray bottle with me to try and minimize it anyway

After a good coat of wax I'll just use a waterless wash spray or something similar, and wipe them off when I park

I think there's special spray cleaners out there made for bug splatters (or it could be some kind of Goo-Gone spinoff). If you don't want bugs to splatter the front end, you'll need those plastic front end covers (car bras?).

I don’t have this problem but really into keepin my paint as perfect as possible. I’m on the Autogeek forum alot and there in Florida.

Lot of talk of bug problems especially the love bugs in Florida.

Their parent company owns alot of car care brands and one in particular is BlacFire.

The make a product that gets great reviews to make bugs easy to remove and reduce etching of your paint

Thanks for the great feedback. It's been waxed multiple times and has a ceramic coating. It does help with washing, but looks so bad after a long ride. I washed it yesterday and they came off easily. I will look into a car bra also, I hadn't thought of that.

Attach lizards to the front of the car.

Or like stated a good wax and just rinse them off with your hose when you get home.

Dryer sheets are the easiest way to remove them. Wash the front to remove all the grit then use wet dryer sheets to remove the bug guts.
