I have 2018 v6 rs and when i bought this car i use to do it 5.8 when i floored and the weather was around 40-65 degrees, now in summer i get around 6.3-6.5 and i live in texas Houston i even try to put kn filter and that didn't help, temperatures here now is around 85-105 with allot of humidity so i vcd don't know if summer affected my performance or my cosmetic rear window lovers..

i don't know maybe you have better road condition or weather and remember it's just 0-60 time and i know above 100 mph you need bigger engine instead of juice blender some people like you see hit 5.1 sec
btw, that's also i guess depends how did you do it, i didn't play with rpms before take off and that was 0-62 and i know everyone post numbers but i haven't so far many videos of stock good times so far and that's what i'm trying to figure it out and i just might not be good at it so maybe i just need some advice.

Posting on a dead thread.

Did a 5-60 since I usually don't smash it from a stop on my daily route.

2016 A8 with some basic upgrades and close to 90k miles on the engine.

I'd try a 0-60. What mods do you have?

The 0-60 done before the 5-60 was .2 seconds slower, running a 4.7, which is still impressive to me, considering my 97 Mercedes was like 7 seconds.

Mods:
Intake, exhaust, throttle body, tune, aero kit, 275/35r20 tires, 3.27 differential, and a cool day at sea level.

4.7 is really good. Stickier tires and that 3.27 gear are probably what helps most. My best is 5.1 and that's with stock tires and gear, axle back and ported throttle body, and stock tune

Regularly 5.4 seconds in my stock 2016 RS, which I believe equates to Chevy's listed 0-60 time for the V6 with A8. The 2021 RS with the A10 also hits 60 in 5.4.

I believe the R&T time allows for a "one foot rollout," which would make their 5.1 figure roughly equivalent to my 5.4 times?

There is a good article somewhere on the roll out vs. dead stop. The roll out makes a huge difference and even hugerest in some vehicles like AWD.

0-60 from anything but a dead stop is useless as a comparison figure.

kinda silly if R&T is posting times where they're doing stupid crap like 1ft rolls etc.

very low 5 seconds is where the stock v6 lives. You could probably improve that with tires that are maybe a couple inches less in diameter since bigger tires impacts torque to the road but you'd need a tune to fix the speedo or use an external measuring device. Might let you break 5.0 without boltons/FI.

not all "pages" on the info screen are turned on. you have to goto settings and enable them. Then it should show up when navigating thru all of them.
