Also, there was a Chevy dealer in Toronto (Gorries or Garries Chevrolet) who, in 1967 reworked about 50 new 1967 Camaros with heavier suspensions, bigger engines, black exterior and gold interior. (similar to what Shelby did with the Mustang)

These Camaros were rebadged "Black Panther".
Supposedly there are only one or two left in existence. Extremely rare.....

Maybe Scott is eluding to this car?

The NADA convention is Feb 3-6. HMMMM. Who is (one of) your closest ally? Maybe SLP? They come to mind with their history, but not sure.

I'm glad the Camaro wasn't named "panther" because every time a mustang beat us they would call our cars "ERS" since they just beat the PANTH off us.
