Right. Gotcha. I just searched the 370 pg manual electronically for the word "text" and there is a feature where it will read a text message to you that has been received on your phone, but no mention of going the other direction.

I already knew about receiving because sometimes my GF texts me while I am driving (unbeknownst to her). So, one day, I am driving along with my phone connected via BT and a tone sound happens, then the screen below the 4 little guages gets a turquoise rectangle that tells me i have a new text. I hit the voice button on the wheel and it reads the damn thing to me!

Hmm. It may just be a Apple Car Play feature then. I'm not sure. Maybe someone with an Android phone can chime in.

Hi! I'm also having this issue and everyone I call says they can't hear me when I'm driving over 3mph in my 1lt.

Can you confirm if this is not the way it should be?

That is not the way it is supposed to be. I have been told while driving down the highway at 70 mph (windows closed and no defroster blowing) that I sound better than I have ever sounded over cell phone to a friend of mine who is an audio person.

What model do you have? I'm trying to figure out if the 1lt models have an inferior mic perhaps?

Hi Giri,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for any frustrations caused by this Bluetooth concern in your Camaro, and we can assure you this is not the way the system is intended to operate. We recommend reaching out to our Infotainment team (855-478-7767), as they are in the best position to assist with troubleshooting connectivity concerns. If you are still seeking additional support after speaking with them, please reach out to us by private message and we would be happy to look into this further on our end.

Good Morning Socalpilot,

I’m sorry to hear that you seem to be experiencing these Bluetooth concerns in your Camaro, especially since you’ve had the vehicle for a short period of time. I would also recommend contacting our Infotainment Customer Service team at (855) 4 SUPPORT or (855) 478-7767 between 8:00 am to 10:00 pm EST, Monday through Saturday, as they would be in the best position to assist you.

If you come across any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

All the best,

Angela O.
