I'm curious to see the carbon fiber dash board. I'm assuming it's just inserts.

We see too far.

I don't really know what's going on in this thread, but I'll just add that the carbon fiber dash is probably the optional factory insert add on. I installed one in my car.

As for the Windshield wiper motor and fluid resevoir, young kids do dumb things to make their car 'faster'. I had a friend with a brand new 2015 Mustang back in 2015. He had it tuned then proceeded to strip out anything that 'he didn't need' to save weight. One of those things was the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. He then sold the car not even a few months later. I don't know what the point of all that was, but some people just do crazy things.

I'm not sure you don't need to be too concerned, just get the reservoir issue fixed correctly and enjoy the car.

I think he meant the electric motor that pumps the fluid out of the reservoir. I could be wrong.

Did you not look at the car before purchasing? I.e. check all of the paperwork.. you weren't that concerned before.

Brainstorming reasons why the reservoir was removed:
1. It was used / replaced with a meth kit. And the kit was taken off the car before you purchased it and the stock washer reservoir wasn't reinstalled. However water injection, 60% of the time, is used with forced induction, everytime.

2. Car was in a minor accident, repairs were done without involving insurance, reservoir wasn't replaced for reasons.

3. Washer reservoir was having issues such as "not working" or "leaking" and it was being repaired / replaced but then the car got traded in so the work wasn't completed.

4. Race car, weight reduction.

If he left the paperwork and your wife stalked him why not message him?

"Hey I just bought your old car, got your info from the papers you left behind. What's up with this?" Seems much easier than asking people who've never seen it before.

I said I didn't want the dealer getting in trouble for not removing his his personal paperwork. Some people seemed to the point being that the same dealer would be working on my car.

I was looking to track down what options were ordered on the vehicle, as stated in the OP.

I have some ambient lighting fixtures in here too But they don't come on a 1 SS. . I guess I see too far. I guess asking for forums requires reading retention. I guess I saw too far. Thank you for the 2 real responses.

I'll just go read Jegs comments section for helpful responses. My bad.

I’d contact the previous owner, don’t worry about the dealer. I did that years ago on a used car and the owner was happy to give me all the details. It’s not his car anymore so why would he be mad?
