Good morning Joe.

I got up at 4:30 am. After sleeping in yesterday I woke up just slightly later from my weekly routine.

I attended the "Celebration of Life" get together of my life long friend yesterday. He did the body work on my Super Bee when I restored it. He passed in February.

We have lost too many great people.

For all those who’s dealer aren’t providing updates as to the idle situation below is a link to an article from the Detroit Free Press that came out maybe 2-3 days ago. It’s a great read and is explaining GM’s strategy right concerning the shortage. This includes a “build-shy” strategy which does explain the mess of production and bayed cars.

More Importantly send it to your dealer if they haven’t been communicated to yet about the extended idle. About midway through it almost verbatim states and confirms the idle in Lansing Grand Rapids plant is May 10th - June 28th exactly what Joe and GearHeadSS have already told us. I’m going to be sending this to mine.
