Aston stole styling cues from Mustang. Ford owned - still do a small minority - Aston, so I'm OK with it. Might buy my 3rd when the GT350 comes out.

Aston Martin took cues from Ford? (I know they were under the Ford umbrella) The trademark AM front grill has been around for decades.
BTW my favorite car of all time is the GT40, and I love the look of the new Vanquish.

maybe not a huge fail but definitely over priced now a days. no point in buying one other than to just have an FGT.

How can you say it's overpriced? Collector cars are priced at whatever someone will pay for it.

Any fanboy is annoying especially when they wave around their blatant disregard for anything factual. I would much rather hang out a group of 240sx drivers who have respect for a good car than some Camaro only fanboy. Also you can't call the Ford GT a fail and call that your opinion... you can say it sucked or it didn't stack up to your expectations but you cannot just say it outright failed especially since it did quite the opposite.

Look again closely. This was taken from Mustang, even the designer admitted it. Now Ford has borrowed the evolved look back to make up for the corporate look the pre '05 Mustangs had. Better yet, the Mustang/Evos face now will influence the rest of the line. Focus may have hit the market first, but the EVOS hinted at the future Mustang, without doubt.
