I'm looking for a slightly used right (passenger side) front GY F1. the one I have is an original tire and blading, the other front was replace when a nail went through the side wall, and the rear were replace when they balded out (don't know how that happen).

Looking to replace all tires once they start balding out but like I said I have three that are still good.

Another option would be rotate the rears to the front and get new rears... but is that a good idea??? since the rears are stretched on... would that make the side walls weaker on the narrower front rim?

I saved the fronts when I had the first set of GY's put on the car. When the rears went first again, I had those save fronts mounted on the rear of the car. Got an additional almost 8K miles out of the set doing that. I have never went from the rear to the front, but I can;t imagine it would do any harm.

I have a front set with lots of tread left but I am not planning on shipping them after the experiences I have had with member sales on this forum. I am located in Kentucky. 225.00 for both fronts.

I wouldn't even bother with a used tire on these. They already come with low tread. Tire Rack has right side GY Eagle F1 G2s for $227 right now.

Just keep an eye on craigslist near you, I found probably 15 sets in the 2 years I tracked my car...Some for as low as $100 a set of 4 and they were nearly new. When the cold rain starts (even in ca/fl) someone that has them will get a scare when they mess around and off they will go.

You turned me on to that idea over a year ago. Put a number of active search filters into CL that notify me when a new post comes up that matches my search criteria.

Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero.

All I keep getting are ads from this *used* (stolen) tire place in the Bronx because one of my searches was for 285/35-20 and their daily posts have hundreds of tire sizes listed. Damn you out in car-lover land.

Now, if I had an S-Class or a Lincoln Town Car ... I'd be in business.
