315/30/20 on ZL1 Wheel

I have read some say running at 315/30 is possible and others say it tore the wheel liner up too bad. Can anyone confirm they have done it successfully? What wheel, offset, and spacer did you run?

You run that size on the OE wheels but I would move the wire harness and massage the inner liner on the drivers side. Very easy to do and till only take about 1.5 hours and that with taking the wheel off, the liner off, moving the line with zip ties, massaging the hump in the liner with heat gun and a roller, putting the liner back on, and then the wheel. Cake!

Thanks! I’m going to work on the harness and liner in the next few days before I order any tires.

For reference I have a 325/30/30 but on a custom wheel and off set. Fits great!

We did it in about 30 mintues. You can undo the front half of the wheel liner and just fold it back and then move the wire harness and zip tie to the brake line. Put it back, used a heat gun to smooth the empty hump in the liner and done.

Car looks great...even sideways!

Any rubbing issues with the front 295s?
