it won't do much for power.....as none will on our car, but another to consider is the MRT V2.....Its what I got and put on my car after listening IN PERSON to a lot of different exhausts.

oh and btw.....Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

I got one on my V6, get it, the sound is incredible, the HP boost was about 4 HP, but you also save about 15-20 lbs in weight....

Only with the magnaflow Resonated X-pipe. Other wise it sounds like rice above 1800 rpm.

I had the Flowmaster but switched them out for the MRT v2. I'm very happy with The MRT. Best of luck!

xTHExxFALLENx – picking an exhaust that suits your preference is a personal and subjective topic. You have to pick one that best-matches your expectations for sound while considering cost and reputation of quality.

Check YouTube for videos of the sound and try to find some local Camaro owners to hear their exhaust in person.

Here’s a video of the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust kit for the V6 Camaro.

I just got my Flowmaster AT's installed two days ago. I finally got a chance to hop on the freeway and noticed a relatively loud drone at 60-75 at both 5th and 6th gears. This is my first car EVER with an after market exhaust... is this normal? Current owners, are they loud to you too? Do they get better? Please, any feedback would help. I love the exhaust, I just don't know if what I'm experiencing is what I should have expected or if there's just a flat out better exhaust for me out there.

There are many people who notice this drone when in 5th or 6th gear and around 2.2k to 2.5k RPM.

Some people here don't notice it or don't mind it. I have the drone and am looking for alternatives. I might try the Magnaflow resinator or maybe will just go with a full Corsa cat back system.
