This is similar to Crystal Red Tintcoat I had on my 5th gen. It is the most amazing color in person but very hard to paint match if you have a fender bender because of the tintcoat.

So this is wild cherry on a Camaro for those who wanted to see it. Granted its crappy pictures in the shade, but it sure doesn't look like the pics of the Tahoe! Looks like Garnet Red? I guess sunlight changes wild cherry a TON.

Bad pictures again, but you can see that it does have more pop in the sun than Garnet Red.

There is a marked difference in hue, but not in depth or "pop", the latter all depends on cleanliness and surface treatment, plus lighting, angle, background, camera etc. Both wild cherry and garnet red are tricoats with the same layering, same process, and presumably same paint thickness and quality.

No, they're actually different, there isn't enough sunlight in these pictures to accentuate the color. The new one is lighter and indeed a bit more "cherry-ish".

The Wild Cherry Tintcoat seems to be a darker, deeper, more "Candy Apple" red, I like it better than Garnet Red...

Not correct. They have two different color codes.

Wild Cherry Tintcoat = GSK

Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat = GPH
