FINALLY!!! I was wondering when we'd see a new Whipple (where's the other twin screw?...). Cool find.

It is going to also be heavy, my 2650 with nothing but the blower was about 78 lbs. and thats 22 lbs heavier then the 2300 Heartbeat so I'd bet it will be 100 lbs or more. Its a big boy and should make big power. Its probably overkill for most and may require an upgraded fuel system besides the Lt4. Cheap, doubt that, but is pretty cool looking.

Installing the whipple yes there is cutting that needs to be done to the heat sheild under the heat diffuser. Pretty simple i found the template online put painters tape on the panel drew it out made the cuts then put round rubber moulding around it to clean it up

I think that big boy would be better for a larger displacement. I know some of the Mopar guys that switched to some larger blowers had their car slow down from the stock blower. I think it was the Whipple 4.5, I don't know what mods they had or if they were stock. That thing is huge, hopefully that won't happen to the 3.8. It is a good looking blower, can't wait to see how they do on the Lt1/Lt4 when they come out.

If they slowed down it wasn't from a lack of power. We've made 1000+rwhp with a Whipple 4.0 on a Hellcat a few times already. Getting that power to hook is never easy though. This new 3.8 should be pretty legit. Can't wait to get it on a 6gen and see how they do against the 2650s. |

Other than cutting the hood that will be the only turn off for some as you can imagine a larger rotor pack and port injection will take up some room.. I all ready talked to nick Prciello. As you know he left Edelbrock to go to whipple he's the one that set me up with the 2650. I all ready told him I would do the swap it be would be cake.. I have the clearance and port all ready setup! It seemed like they are going after the Zr1 for a direct swap on the LT side 1st.
