Strut issue
Rotated my struts yesterday and I think the car was messed up by previous owner. I think the strut mounts are the wrong way from all the images I've seen in track alignment. This is my second zl1 1le and I had no issues before. I included pictures so please compare and add photos of your in the track alignment setting please.

it is messed up, but I dont think its an issue because the strut doesnt screw into it that far. I suspect that someone either worked or tried working on the car and had no idea what they were doing.
It looks to me like someone screwed a bolt into the hole and it had the wrong thread.

Yeah it's definitely wrong. Car is going to a shop tomorrow to figure it out. Suppose to hit the track Saturday and Sunday so really hoping they can fix it. I'll update you guys tomorrow. Thanks for the answers and pictures.

Is it even possible to rotate it too far and still have the bolts go back in? It's been a while since I've done mine, but from what I remember you can only put those 3 bolts back in when the strut is aligned in 2 positions (1) regular and (2) track.

I was going to run auto club speedway but I have to work now. The previous owner for whatever reason had the top of the struts 180 degrees the wrong way. They took the strut off rotated it the right way and put it back together. The track alignment is perfect now.
