they're using the address of a performance shop in texas, i called the shop and they said its a known scam and FB wont do anything about it

Yeah, guys, take Facebook sales with a huge grain of salt, especially those people just posting in groups. That website is just crawling with scams, I just don't think it's worth even looking there.

Scam. Ever since Facebook and twitter got slapped for taking down bad/false/misleading information, this kind of stuff flies now since "everything is an equal and legitimate post". It's up to you to protect yourself, in any case...

Two things I have noticed about the scam ads are that they almost always turn off committing and the person placing the ads has very little on their profile page.

I wouldn't buy anything that I cannot put my hands on. Bad for the legit people trying to sell something but the majority are scams.
