from what I have personally experienced, the secondary cat delete won't void a warranty.
Had this on my ZL1 for ages until I did pulley and got all my warranty work without problem.

We have had warranty work done on cars with our stage 2 package before. That's headers, balancer, ported blower, 103 throttle body and a tune. We had them change the rear main seal for no charge. They said as long as we haven't modified the motor they are okay working on it. What dealers are giving you a hard time over bolt ons? If they do just find a new dealer.
If you get a tune, it'll do everything that a throttle controller can do. To the OP. Check out our stage 2 package or hit us up for some details. A ported blower and a pulley really wake these cars up. We've made over 700rwhp with bolt ons alone. |

I can just about guarantee you that warranty will be voided with a tune.

I actually am waiting on my TB to come back from Soler with the Throttle Controller, I’ve heard / all good things that it’s done without having to worry about voiding warranty

The controller makes a huge difference and you can dial the response in to get it exactly how you like it.

A tune cannot do everything a TC can do:
1) A tune will give you a single response level vs. 37 levels for the TC. 2) If you want to change the tune level you'll need to re-tune vs. pushing button on the go on your TC. 3) Your ECM will be reflashed once every time you tune vs. none w/ a TC. Whether the dealer looks at that or not is another matter. But that is something they are likely to look at especially if it is a big claim. |
