SS 1LE spoiler winglet removal?
So how hard is it to pull off those side parts of the spoiler. Car is a little over a week old and the dealer didn’t do the best job at straight and even and driving me nuts. Will a little bit of a heat gun and heating them up making them easy to pull off?

I used dental floss to pop them off. My dealer did it twice and it was worse the 2nd time.
I pulled mine off and I liked the look so I threw them in the trunk for now. |

This tool is one of the best tools i've ever purchased, take your pic on the brand, they are pretty much all the same. https://www.amazon.com/Remover-Stick...ps%2C76&sr=8-1 |

well i got them off pretty easy. It seems the dealer used some black RTV type glue plus the tape. The black stuff pulled off the winglets easier than the tape but its bonded to the paint and I have no idea how to remove it. Best i could do was carefully take a razor and shave it as flat as I could so it doesnt interfear with the new 3M tape I put on the winglets. seems test fitting its removed enough that they can sit very nice and tight on the body. Now I just gotta clean up the tape off the winglets

I would never use one of those eraser wheels. To easy for those to cause damage before you even know it. Yea it would remove double sided tape easily and so does my fingers. There is no way it would remove this rock hard RTV type glue that was on the wings with the tape.

I've used the eraser wheels a lot, it has literally never caused damage to anything. It's much safer than a razer blade in my opinion but glad that it worked for you.

That so much better. Lines are straight and even with the body. It took an extra ohh 6seconds to line it up. How lazy of a person who doesn’t take the time at the dealer to make sure it’s on straight. They where both crooked as hell and gaps were so big.

I don't understand why these aren't installed from the Factory

I'm sure there's a reason that makes sense at the factory, but it doesn't make sense to me. I'm already planning on having the PDI dept. do the absolute minimum & then I'll do the rest at home. Especially these

Yea, if you can put them on yourself do it. I mean it takes no effort to make them line up straight with the trunk line. Yet mine where all wonky and crooked. Like wtf
