I am turning 50 next year so a new C7, GT 350 or ZL1 will be my birthday gift.

Not in 2016, but yes I will trade for a 6th. Looks are subjective, but as to everything else, it appears the 6th gen is leaps and bounds ahead of the 5th.

My 5th Gen is gone when the 6th Gen ZL1 can be ordered....everything evolves and the 6th Gen will just be better...I even prefer the looks of the 6th, so it is a win-win-win for me.

I'd like to, could definitely use that LT1 and 200lb weight loss. Rev matching and mag ride control would be sick, but i bet itd be expensive too. I got a 1LE, which is already pretty rare and awesome, it wouldn't be worth it to trade in. I love my cars like children; the only way I'd ever upgrade is if I got a gen 6 ZL1 for a good price

While I do like the look of the Gen 6 my bank account won't allow me so I'm holding onto my 2011 for a while.

All depends on the numbers and figures the 2016 Camaro SS throws down ......

It depends on performance.
The gen 6 will have a power and weight advantage compared to my gen 5. It may make more sense to replace my gen 5 with a gen 6 than mod my gen 5 to make it faster. Once the hype dies down and the problems start to surface (or don't surface) on the gen 6 I'll go test drive one and see whether or not the change will be worth it to me. |

Or better yet, I might just waste cash on modding my 2013 Camaro !!!!! all depends on the numbers the 2016 Camaro SS brings .........

I considered waiting until 2017 for the new ZL1, but I love the current retro look. Not to mention I got my ZL1 for 51k because they wanted to move it.
2017 ZL1 will be at least 62k + msrp, not to mention the first year mark up!! I'm pretty sure there even going to mark up the 2016 ss when it first comes out. I also doubt every 2016 SS will have magnetic ride control, my guess is it will be a extra option you have to purchase? Quote:
As far as the gen 6 ZL1 you will have to wait until 2017 for the ZL1, plus pay a mark up.. Or wait until 2018 to get a next gen ZL1 at sticker price.

I look at it this way the 2016 MSRP prices aren't going lower ......... so I might just be keeping my 2013 Camaro .........

From reading this thread, it doesn't look great for the Gen 6. If many of the hard core Camaro fans aren't going to rush out and buy a Gen 6, then why would members of the general public? I'm sure GM will sell a lot of them, but they need to sell a ton of them to recapture the sales title from Ford.
