Thanks Tom, I just returned from Spring Mountain myself. I did a two day private lesson there. I had previously done the Ron Fellows Levels 1 and 2, great school. Which track configuration? I drove the new 2.1 mile course in the last two classes. Fun track, hard on brakes.

Have fun at Fontana as well, I'll be watching the TUDOR race at Laguna Seca that weekend.

I'll be back out at Willow Springs 5/24 - 5/25 for another Pony Car Challenge, hopefully we can meet up then.

Todd

PS- Are you still running R888s and how do you like them? I've heard they're noisy on the freeway, how bad is it for a 4 hour drive?

Speed Ventures still shows track configuration to be determined at Spring Mountain....

I've used my R888s the one time there at Willow Springs...I changed over to them at the track....I think they felt good....(next outing will be with Ride-Tech coilovers)...drove from the track at Willow to get gas and back ....noisy as hell...lol...four hours might be tough to take...good luck with that one...lol...

P.S....I can't find any info on Willow Springs for 5/24-5/25...

Strange, Willow Springs 5/24 still shows up on The Pony Car Challenge schedule, but it's no longer on the events page. I'll ask them tomorrow at Buttonwillow.

Ok sounds like I'll stick with Nitto NT-01s for driving to the track. Quiet and they grip like spiderman.

Guys,

Here's the write up for Buttonwillow 4/19-4/20, had an absolute blast! Pony Car Challenge was not well attended, the real competition were the Vettes, Porsches and CTS-Vs believe it or not, LOL.
