So What.
Been putting off filling up the Camaro, as that is another $80 or so.
Wow, side by side, very cool! You need one of those Bandit Camaro conversions now lol. I had a 79 Camaro back in the day but long gone now, winters are not too kind on cars around here. I think most of us Camaro guys all wished we had a Bandit back then though, I'm sure it's a real head turner nowadays!

We're in a similar boat. I'm getting 24 mpg in my v6, and my wife's Toyota C-HR gets 30-35, so guess which vehicle we've been using almost exclusively over the past month...

Yet the media - and even Biden himself, play this stupid game of blaming Putin, Big Oil and even sending a nasty letter to the major gasoline producers yesterday, all as if the real reason didn't exist. Their answer was basically, why should we make ANY attempt to rectify the problem if a war has been declared on our industry?

America is being dismantled and sold for scrap right before your eyes. I'd say wake up, but it's far too late now. Bring on that $10.00/gal premium!

Damn. Do they at least check your oil, clean your windshield, and lube your pipe for that?

LOL..Biden did that in Sweden...Suuuuurrreeeee....Americans have ZERO clue about how much gas costs outside the states..hence why they have smaller more economical cars..back in the 90s, gas was close to $4 a gallon in Germany and on base was $1.30 or so..

4.89/4.99 regular and 5+ for premium and can't get 93 octane (90) here in central NY (Utica). Remember if you can the gas crunch in the late 70's. Long lines at the pump, only could buy based on odd/even license plate #s. Notice no shortage now, just high $. It's supply and demand guys. Right now we want more than existing refineries can supply so the price is way up after two years of sittin still and bunches of folks not driving to work anymore(work from home?) . Our Camaro is a toy, so not much usage. All we can do to effect change is reduce consumption, but change is slow.

you all got it SO GOOD. everything is cheap as chips in your land.
how does 4usd for a loaf of bread sound to you lot?
there's 3 of us in this house and we spend around 1500 usd a month on food.
lucky we are mortgage and loan free. how anyone here manages with big mortgages and cars on finance?
cost of living here is astronomical.

Groceries are not cheap here either, we pay $3.99 a loaf for name brand bread or $2 for generic and I live in the wheat belt. Six of us in the home and grocery bills are simply insane. 90 octane(our premium) over $5 a gallon here as well. Just going to retire stay home and start a huge garden and become a vegan.

oh fark. so it's not so good there either?
same the world over i think. can u imagine if interest rates return to 10%. i predict half of sweden will be homeless if and when that happen. as most are in debt up to their eyeballs.
i know 3 people close to 60 and still have 300 to 400k mortgages. they will be working right up to their funeral
