Springs for a Vert w/MRC

Anyone producing lowering springs for MRC convertibles yet?

AFAIK, the Eibachs and BMR are compatible with MRC, and there are no restrictions on the vert vs. coupe, unless I missed something. . . .

I don't have MRC on my vert, but after checking with Eibachs and BMR, they didn't state support for a Vert. I looked at Hurst, and they do state support for a vert.

From Hurst Website:
The Hurst Stage One Spring Kit for the 2016-2017 Camaro SS (Coupe and Convertible) is an excellent choice for firming up the handling of your car and giving it that "just right" stance.

I chose the Hurst kit.

Seems like the convertible would be heavier in the back, and require a slight stiffer rear spring.

Yeah, I guess I didn't consider the weight disparity. . . I'm kinda getting used to my stock springs, the wheel-gap initially really bugged me. . .

SO I love my drop on my eibach springs but the bolts that hold the braces continuously bottom out or scrap when going over speed bumps. I'm probably going to re-install my stock springs on the rear.

I lowered my Vert with Hurst springs. They were the only company that specifies convertibles in their documentation.

Do you have a picture? The factory wheel gap on the rear isn't that bad anyway bc I want to put a meaty tire on.

Sorry to hear. That's the original reason for asking the question. If the convertible is heavier in the back, it will require a different (firmer) spring rate.

Eibach now offers another set of SportLine springs designed for the 1LE which is a .7" drop instead of their standard 1.1" drop. I'm waiting to see what they'll be able to offer me. If not, i'll either get rid of eibach for hurst or just put my stock springs on in the rear.

Just installed the Eibach E10-23-018-01-22 Camaro SS pro-kit, looks awesome! It says to drive it hard for 10 miles after the install to seat everything, so I did around 30. They claim vert compatibility, and the Kits paper work called it a ZL1 upgrade. No bumps, scrapes, noises. The ride is tight when pushed, smooth on easy driving.
