Nothing unexpected

Agree. GM is really disappointing. Corvette is outside of my comfort level price wise and well there’s nothing else. Guess I’ll be keeping my 2019 for a long time.

I was planning on getting a used zl1 eventually (2021-2023) in a few years but if used car prices don’t go back to normal I’ll probably just buy a new mustang GT. A little disappointed about that but I hate keeping cars once they start to get old. Hoping ford makes a decent improvement to the mustang even though it’s main competition is most likely kicking the curb.

At this point I guess I’m just gonna go grab another r6 or r1, maybe start popping money into the 2nd gen… The corvette seems to be the only thing gm is running for years to come and it’s just not for me.

I used to aways prefer corvettes to Camaros but for some reason I preferred the 6th gen camaro over the c7. The c8 isn’t even a possibility for me because I am a manual guy. I feel like with the c7, the car got too refined. But even though it’s refined the camaro feels like the more controllable sports car. The c5 z06 and c6’s I absolutely love. Those cars felt like rocket ships when you drove them because they are so much more raw. If c6 z06 prices hadn’t gone up so much I might have made an exception to my old car rule and bought one. I also think the c7 body style will age poorly with all its lines. The c6 imo has aged gracefully and looks like a traditional sports car.

While I had hoped for a mid engine Corvette for years, I don't think the C8 body will age gracefully. Car looks great from front and side but the ass end with the big upward curve just doesn't work for me. The rear end almost has a kit car look.

The Gen 6 Camaro is one of the most beautiful coupes ever designed.

Honestly... I really have no reason to get anything different. Like others have said, the C8 is out of my comfort zone price wise. The C7 I really do like, but bang for the buck just isn't there compared to the 6th Gen Camaro. Besides the 6th gen Camaro is just a better looking muscle car to me. There really is no reason to upgrade to a newer 6th Gen Camaro. I mean, what would I truly get over my paid off '16 2SS for the extra money? An A10? That's an awful lot of cash for a newer trans. A8 shutter issues on my SS have already been addressed. I'll probably be hanging onto this car for a LONG time. The HBM also isn't available past '18.

Unless GM actually made a 7th Gen Camaro that had some worthy upgrades... I just can't see upgrading.

Kudos Ford. I may be in my first Mustang even if only by the condition that they'll be the only one left.

I'm glad the Mustang will continue with a V8 and manual trans., here's to hoping the Camaro does so as well.

I think the C6 looks dated now. It still looks good in Z06 and ZR1 form, but starting to show its age for sure. The C7, for me, looks much better, esp. the Z06 trim. Plus the C7 interior is much nicer than the C6.

It doesn't look good. They reportedly dismantled the project team and canceled 7th gen development. We know Al is working on the EV team now of course.

Although, there is some hope as the 2nd gen CT6 if it still arrives will show up on the VSS-R platform which the Camaro would share.

The more likely scenario though is an Ultium based version if we get one at all.

Ford doesn't seem to be having problems with Mustang. Why can't Chevrolet get it right???

Looks like Ford is benchmarking the ZL1 to make the GT 500 better
