Oh, and I got curious about your location (20*51.50N 156*29.60W) You live in the middle of Maui?!? If so, VERY NICE!!!

I climbed Haleakala twice by bicycle, it's quite a funny thing to go from 0ft elevation all the way up to 10,000ft! I bet you can climb it a bit faster with you Camaro

Best,

Geoff

I was in Maui a couple weeks ago and got a 2020 2SS as a rental (I was shocked!), I couldn't believe it, I was sad I was only there 1 day... I would have liked to try out line lock and launch control a little more than I did...

We already know that. When GM works hard in their EV effort, they've to put whole money in EVs.

They care less any combustion model.

MT straight up stating in an article the Camaro is better than the current Mustang in every way...

How can we make the dumb****s at Chevy understand? They've got the better everything and they just keep ****ing up, they don't like money!

The DOHC V8 doesn't fit in the Alpha chassis. It was never going to happen to begin with.

This! It's why the Cadillac Blackwing doesn't have the Blackwing engine.

GM should have made a high performance 6.6 liter. CNC heads, more compression, more RPM. Would have been a great C7 Grand Sport and Z/28 engine.

sometimes it's not about showing a profit. it's about generating buzz for the brand and that then sells the regular lineup of cars hence increasing profits.
same concept you can buy a 24pk of water at 711 2/$5. they pay $3.20 for them.

they sure were harsh on the looks of the camaro. having been more a mustang guy I have to say the current gen camaro is pretty badass looking but sales say I'm likely in the minority.
the last quote is VERY TRUE..

'" This is true. Not only was the sixth-gen Camaro our 2016 Car of the Year, but it's beaten its chief rival, the Ford Mustang, in every comparison test I can think of. "[Chevy] fails to realize that most people buy styling over performance."

You are missing the point. GM knows they made a phenomenal car with the 6th Gen Camaro.

Problem is - us 'enthusiasts' aren't buying them!

Why would GM continue to pour money into a product that isn't selling?

I think that the writing was on the wall when Big Al got taken from the Camaro program.
