Opinions on which lowering springs

I have a 2015 1LE Camaro. My birthday is around the corner and may ask for springs. I've had eibachs and vogtlands in the past both on Mustangs.. Have it narrowed to 1. Hotchkis 2. Pfadt 3. BMR. I'm looking at 1"-1.25" drop. The Pfadt are 300 and can get BMR and Hotchkis for 200. If anyone has any negatives and positives on what they have/ had I would appreciate it. I'm a little confused on some online pictures. The 1" hotchkis looks like some people's car are as low as 1.4" and I know from past experience cars dont always drop as much as advertised. Thanks in advance.

I've been running the Hotchkiss for a number of years now. They tuck the wheels/tires well and handle really nice. The ride is pretty decent also. The only gripe is if I hit just the right angle when backing out of my driveway some coils will rub and make a little bit of a creak. I feel like they work well with my 1LE struts too. I have a 2013 1LE for reference. I would recommend them 100%.

Saying all that I do have some Afe/Pfadt coil overs to install.

Appreciate it. Was just reading someone had noise from BMR springs as well. Nature of the beast. Is your wheel gap gone with the hotchkis?

I have 1” BMR and have no noise. A little stiffer than normal but that is to be expected.

I can chime in. The wheel gap is not closed. I had them for awhile. They lower 1” in front and about 3/4” rear. At least on my SS. To close gap you need 1.5 to 2”

I have the BMR 1" on a 2010 as with (new) stock dampers. It rides damn near stock until you get into it. Your 1le dampers will make it ride a bit stiffer. As for filling the gap....it depends on your wheel offsets and tire size as well. As we all know, the early 5th gen was too high and had bad wheel offsets. My new wheels are a +30 which pushes the wheel further out.. That being said, If my 1" drop can make a 2010 look good, I'm sure the 1le would look even better.
And lastly, most lowering springs will be bratty close in comparison.
I had a bit of spring noise from the coils touching. Just fixed it with about a foot of plastic tubing. I think some of the Eibach springs actually come with coil sleeves.
Good luck

Looked like in the pictures the Pfadt springs have a sleeve half way up on the coils.

The spring rates are pretty close to each other, so I'm sure it boils down to word of mouth or brand loyalty. I guess just more worried about getting rid of the gap without being too low.

Looks like the wheel gap on mine is about 2" in the front and just under 3" in the rear.

I have had the PFADT's on my 2011 SS for 9 years now and no issues or noise from them at all. They are the 1.25's..

Beautiful car love the color. I was leaning that way at first but almost 100 dollars more for springs compared to the other 2.

This is the best side shot I have. Being it's all black it's kinda tough to see but there you go.

Also as for the creak it is VERY rare. Practically nonexistent.

I run bmr 1” springs and love them. If u have skirts and splitter I wouldn’t recommend going lower. At least in Louisiana
