Took the Zl1 1/8 mile Racing yesterday

Hey Guys, took the Z to the local 1/8 mile strip yesterday, managed to get in 13 passes! Best pass of the day was a 7.26@101 with a 1.73 60ft. The car was pretty consistent with 9 passes in the 7.2x range.

My car is still 100% bone stock, right down to the factory Goodyear’s.

What are some of your guys 1/8 times??

Also, what do you recommend to get this car in the 6.6-6.7 range?

Nice to see that you had a good day, eh?
In my area, all of the tracks are closed until 2021 due to Corona.
Maybe I should take off to the Great White North?!

Great job that’s quick! If you have e85 near by you could gain that easily by adding a flex fuel sensor, an intake and a tune. My car saw about 75whp and 80ftlbs at the tires just from adding the flex fuel tuning. You will most likely need some better drag tires with the added power though also . I can run up to 60% ethanol without any issue, here are the before and after results from my dragy 100-200 (62-124mph measurement)

Those are very quick times for a stock ZL1. I think it works out to somewhere in the 11.teens in the quarter. What were the weather conditions like?

Nice passes! 100% stock, most of mine are in the same ballpark as yours. 7.2s between 101 and 102 mph. I've had a few 7.1s with a good track and good air. Managed three or four 7.0s with my rear drag radials with one of those at 103 mph, which lead to a 10.86 1/4.
