Before and after flex fuel tune *Dragy results

Just wanted to share some quick Dragy comparison data on my 18’ 6M/T ZLE. This is before and after adding a flex fuel sensor and a flex fuel tune.

(Stock boost no pulley swap on both runs shown below)

First run
rotofab intake standard, and cat back exhaust stock tuning 93octane

Second run
Rotofab intake standard, cat back exhaust and flex fuel sensor with flex tuning from BRC E50 fuel.

https://brcraceworks.com/

Cliff notes:

Car is full weight, both runs I had a full tank to keep things as similar as possible. Temps were 10* cooler on the second run. I think it will go even quicker once I have a few more tries as Traction is now an issue from 50-60mph so there was some spinning through second gear when I hit it. Overall I’m blown away by how much quicker the car is without increasing boost, just a flex fuel sensor and calibration for pump up to e60.

Those are pretty stout results. I’m thinking about doing a flex fuel sensor also. Did u install yourself? Was it difficult?

I’ve never done anything like that before so I’m not sure how challenging it would be.

60 horses off just a flex fuel tune? That's a good bargain.

That’s a sweet torque gain.

It was pretty easy, I think it took an hour in total. I followed a YouTube vid and got it done without any issues. Main thing is when you pin it into the plug triple check you are inserting the wire into the correct pin. I went with the advanced fuel dynamics kit that has a Bluetooth module so you can connect with your phone through their app and see live ethanol content.

Yeah it was actually more then that, the car baselined at 590 before any tuning was done. I’m blown away by how much better it drives too, taking off from a light there was always a dead spot in the pedal which made it want to choke up a little and that is also completely gone.

Now that’s pretty neat.

This is about to force my hand also. It would be worth losing my warranty at this point. Nice results man

Thank you, the dead pedal in the manual cars is one of the only things I learned to hate about it after owning it for a bit. Completely gone now and SO worth it ha.
