time slips
Here are timeslips from 3 different trips to dragstrips in SC. My story is VERY similar to Lay n lo. I had a 2016 c6a8 with ARH headers, E 85 tune, drag radials and a best time of 11.13@121. After recovery from a broken leg and need to enter exit with greater ease. I now have a 2021 camaro LT1 with ARH 1 7/8 headers and cats, E 85 tune, LT 2 manifold and MT 305 40 18 SS drag radials. My best run so far at a DA of 2010 is 11.52@123. Stock air intake and A 10 with no tranny programming. I drag race regularly and many of these slips are deep staged and thus slower. The vette had a trans tune when it ran the 11.13 Wt with driver 3864. and without 3654 for the camaro. The vette was exactly 300# lighter.

Dragstrips
I grew up in Miami Oklahoma and would go to Asbury to watch dragracing . Is MoKan the same track? I am interested in StreetCarTakeOver's index racing and would like to compete in the 12 second class since I can't speed up my daily driver NA car to consistent 10.9 to run in the 11 second class. So have any of you with 2020 and newer cars with untuneable Trannys and thus shift points unchangeable found a way to slow our cars down to 12 flat via the ECM tune?

I've been to a bunch of SCT events since 2016. Lots of fun drag racing and roll racing.

I'm 70.4 years old. I thought you may have caught that in one of my posts that I've been drag racing for 54 years. My goal every day is waking up and not reading my name in the obituaries.

time slips
I am 74 and my list of previous cars is toooo long to publish but included several Lingenfelter tuned cars the fastest was a 99 twin turbo with the 4l 60 tranny that ran 10.36 at 137 but only got about 6 full throttle passes before it was time for a tranny rebuild. Also a 86 turbo t type that ran 10.96 before it burned to the ground on I 85. Lots of stories. Keep posting

I still shake my head at how much it takes to get a car into the 9's. I will stick with my tuned stock 08 Hayabusa that I can run 9.8 all day long, and I only paid $9400 for it 10 years ago, still like new. I would much rather take this car autox than anything.
