I think I'm going to order the Remin RCF kit off CarID then purchase the remainder RCF parts that aren't included in the kit off eBay to make the full car in CF as wanted.

I like the carbon fiber look, especially to cover up the chrome pieces, which look out of place.
But I'd prefer a satin or matte carbon fiber, the glossy finish looks like it would be a fingerprint magnet and get scratched easily.

My China hydro stuff fits like a glove. My teen daughter and wife can't tell real carbon (from OEM dash trim) apart from hydro-dipped parts at all. Service guy at my dealer also thought everything was real carbon. To me that blows my mind because I easily see the difference. Depends on person.

I think you have to be careful not to go overboard with the carbon fiber.

It's also been my experience that the pattern/color of real CF and hydro dip never match. For that reason, I stuck with the real carbon fiber interior parts - dash panel, steering wheel, and shift knob.

Hawk02 I agree, and I am pretty much doing exactly the same as you. Mostly because those are the only real carbon fiber parts we can get at the moment. I wonder how the Remin dash kit is, it has an option to order in real carbon fiber. Anyone purchased a kit for the Camaro or another car

I had a Remin kit on a 2013 Mustang and the fitment was garbage. Huge gaps around the edges of the pieces, some where up to 1/8". After I complained to CARid about it and provided pictures they requested, Remin didn't want to do anything about it so I was SOL.

Hey bud, how’d you paint the Camaro badge on your airbag?

I ordered the real carbon fiber gear shift surround and also the abs carbon effect version from Ebay for comparison. They were both about the same price $66 shipped from a US vendor.
Although the color is very close, the real carbon fiber version is much better up close. You can really see the carbon strands, where as the abs version seems blurry.
The other difference is that the real carbon fiber version does not entirely cover the original silver between the drive mode selector switch and the parking brake switch. You can still see the silver.

Depending on what you buy certain items say allow 4-6 weeks .. I normally try to find a seller that has US stock. I waited 6 weeks for a freaken overlay. But normally camaroswag has always delivered for me . I have bought 4 times from them.

See if there’s a contact number.

Here’s FB link. See if they respond in that.
