Question MSD GMR Pickup (Tach Signal Pickup) Question

Can a single gmr tach signal pickup be used with more than one device or do you have to buy one for each? I have a shift light and a NOS progressive controller that both need a tach signal.

I have the GMR hooked up to both devices now and I'm not getting an accurate RPM reading and am wondering if this is why.
