probably not a good idea to tell people that you are purchasing an illegal part from a company and using it in Calif, especially when they post "Note: Not carb legal: Not for sale or street use in CA". JMHO

It's funny cuz probably 75% of these companies are headquartered in california. And there's 13 other states that have the same laws.

In 2013 a supplier was fined half a million for selling a product intended for emissions controlled vehicles (but not certified) to people in California.

That's basically the threat hung over these companies. Though, much like window tint laws and other things, enforcement is not done often enough to scare away people from sales.

The product was purchased and shipped to an address that was legal, I had it shipped to me from a friend. Removing all liability from the company selling the product.

The video doesn't make it obvious, but the sound tube connection at the firewall needs about an eighth-turn clockwise to come free.
