Plan would be drive down Thursday leaving Jersey around 6-7 AM. Get to TN that evening. Head back either Sunday afternoon or for those that can stay Monday morning.

Something I was thinking about recently was is there a good smartphone app to use when going on cruises instead of having to call/text people. I came across Zello, which is a ppt (push to talk; think walkie talkie) type app that I'm gonna try out. It's available for both Android and ios. Supposedly it has both one-to-one and group chat capability.

Just a few thoughts here. There is no cell phone service in and around the Dragon. Walkie talkies are the only thing that works. The closest ambulance is over an hour away. In the event of a wreck or malfunction minimum cost for a roll off is about a grand. This is not like going to Six Flags lol. Just kidding. It is a remote section of road in the Smoky Mountains. Plan on bringing some supplies especially if you encounter a breakdown. FYI

Discord is a multi user app. You can research that. I have used it before on group outings but up there it is useless as well.

Looks like fun but I'm 13 hours away. Maybe sometime but not in the cards this year

Where in Jersey are y'all leaving from? I don't see any info on Facebook about the cruise down from Jersey.
