When might we see Z/28 Ring videos?

Now that we are almost through April, and weather should be improving, when can we expect Ring videos? I'm looking forward to seeing this car without all the camo padding.

I'm curious about this too. Still wondering if this will be a 2017 model or if they are waiting for 2018? Seems late to still have the padding on the car still and still be introduced as a 2017.

I doubt 2017...could be wrong...I imagine there's a chance they'll be bringing all the cars back to the Nurburgring this summer for hero times...

Yeah I am really curious about the times and see how they compare to the 5gen Z28. Off topic did they ever post the time for the C7 Z06?

Based on the ZL1 spy shots to reveal, the Z/28 probably will be shown in early 2017 as a 2018 model year.

No, I don't think the Z06 time was ever released. I thought the group that owned the Ring lifted the ban on times?

Yeah they did lift the ban so I'm not sure why the time is not known yet?

I still say a late 2017 Z/28 will be out, they want them to come out as a 50th year car, and in that video that may be the revised cooling ZO6 that can run a 20min track day with out any problems, lets hope so, car looks good.

Keep in mind folks...we're not going to be able to really compare new Ring times to the old Ring times...they've resurfaced and refinished large portions of the track. It's going to be similar to how they classify VIR "Old" and VIR "New" times.

True, but I'm not really interested in the lap time. I just want to see it running without the padding and if that wing will be a production part.

Oh I know, no worries.

I just wanted to head off people who might be eager to compare new times to old times and proclaim "the old one was junk!" or "WHAT!? How can this NEW CAR be slower? FAIL GM!!"

I just want any times released to be able to stand by themselves and give the Gen 6 a fair shake.

Oh ok. I get that.

The problem is people see Ring times as absolute. No matter what happens, it will be judged against the 5th gen Z time, the fake GT350R time and anything else people want to compare it to.

Can anyone tell if the hood is taller? I wonder if they using the new LT4 that ZL1 revealed? Doesn't look like it to me.
