i've owned the car almost 3 years. it has 27k on it now. i've been waved at exactly once by another camaro owner. some middle aged woman in a new automatic convertible ss car. she was probably 75% tps as she passed, so that part is ok.

i get more waves in my pos, 300k mile xj, than i do in the camaro.

Here in NJ the most likely salute between vehicles is the middle finger.

I always wave at every car no matter the brand. My arm gets tired after awhile but it’s worth it.

Its everywhere, everyone does it here.

Its also very common in the South to be waved at by anyone going down the road, especially in smaller towns.

Definitely does NOT happen in KY. Only Jeep drivers wave.

I've gotten more waves and thumbs up from Mustang and Challenger drivers than Camaros. The Camaros always want to throw revs and act like asshats.

I got my share of waves from fellow Camaro drivers in the 3 years I owned the 1LE. I got many more waves from fellow Mini drivers in my two Minis. I've had the BMW M2 for a month now, and have already gotten a couple waves from fellow M drivers.

But far and away, the biggest brotherhood on the road is fellow motorcycle riders. It's rare when I don't get waves when I'm on the Z1000.

I cross paths with very, very few Camaro’s…so no waves going on there. Mustang guys may look from across the street, but pretend like I’m invisible at a set of lights, while next to them (strange, I know). I seem to get positive feedback and sometimes waves in return (or sometime first) from owners of Vetts, Porsches and Challengers. Sorry BMW M drivers, you drive and act like the most self absorbed drivers on the road.
