Whipple help please. Differences between truck and Camaro kits?

I can get a free Whipple off of a 15 Tahoe. It was bought from the dealership im a tech at, and its making a bearing noise. I can take the blower off for free. All i need to do is return the Tahoe back to stock. Are the brackets or spacing different between the two? This is too good to be true, i want to get LT4 fuel and have a GREAT summer.

Pretty certain they are different but I haven't had one on a car. I would call Whipple and see what is needed to convert it. Maybe just the spacing of accessories.

They do look different. Maybe just for cowl and hood clearance?

Whipple did “invert” the rotor pack on the Camaro version to fit under the cowl and hood... You should take it off, refurb it, then sell it outright to another truck owner. That’d be a great down payment on a new blower for your ride.

That makes sense as to why they look completely different. After listening to other whipple vids. The noise may be normal. I would be ok with cutting the cowl and getting a Sunoco to clear it. On Innovators site, there are different balancers from 5 3 to LT. I'll keep looking for pulley setup differences. More digging around is needed, but is the OEM zL1 heat exchanger up to the task?

OEM ZL1 heat exchanger is likely fine. I suppose if you really started pushing the blower that might be cause for a upgrade.

ICT has the measurements for the crank pulleys, and there is a difference from LT to the truck ones. I shot them a message to see if they have an idea for spacer/pulley combo that would work. I should find the difference between the Whipple pulley depths between the two. If I could just get a Whipple pulley kit for an LT, that would be ideal. I dont know if the jackshaft depth is different.

Whipple confirmed they are not interchangeable. My coworkers wife may be getting the Whipple thrown on her 20 suburban. At least it wont go to waste
