F rotor shortage???

Seems they are VERY difficult to find, all of a sudden.
Rockauto is sold out. Any idea what's up and who has them in stock? Thx!

Same issue. Both Rock Auto and GM Parts Direct are out of stock. Hawk also ran out of DTC 70 pads.

I bought the DBA friction rings for the front, but still waiting for the OEs to crack.

You’re fortunate DBA offers rings for the SS 1LE.... not an option for ZL1’s. Really difficult to find rotors right now.

My dealer local dealer just discounted to $50 over GMParts Direct’s price per rotor for ZL1 fronts. Had them in my hands the next day, no additional cost. Had no idea they were back ordered. I just needed them for an event this coming weekend... lucky me I guess.

Lucky indeed Provoste! I got a very last set from Rockauto it seems. Local dealers came empty handed. No estimate re availability either.
This is very weird...

DBA rings are currently $310 each from KNS Brakes, so not that bad. Also said to perform better than stock. I was going to try them my next set

Are these rings the same size as stock ? I think they are smaller if I’m not mistaken and take a different brake pad

Just curious can the rotors on a ZL1 be cut and reused?

I'm not seeing why not other then a heat issue if you track your car?

99.999% of owners won't have to replace the rotors if they're not tracking the car.

I track mine pretty regularly and will be due for a pad change by years end.

I haven't done any research yet and I'm guessing someone already knows, but just curious if cutting the rotors is an option?

Id doubt it especially if you track the car but maybe if you don't have to take so much out of them they would still be within the recommended limits?
