Got it thx! Curious as my paddock neighbor at Mosport was having the same issue with his Z06 today. No codes of any kind, but loss of a bit of power. He was gonna flush it tonight and see what happens tomorrow.
Cheers!

Well just fyi, as mentioned yesterday a friend had power loss in his C7 Z06. He was gonna flush the system last night, but didnt. He ran without ANY issues today (same ambient). Solution: Sunoco 94 gas...

Hmm... I tried Sunoco 100 on Monday with no noticable difference vs the 93 I normally run.

Maybe I am wrong, but I think anything above octane wise that doesn't counter knock, actually makes you loose a little power doesn't it? Since higher octane burns slower.

If you get no knock on 93, then I don't think anything above that will help right?

Yeah, I ran the first 4 sessions on 93. For me, the 100 octane was just a hail Mary attempt to recover the lost performance. I didn't expect it to work, but I thought it would at least help rule out knock.

The manual says we can run 100 but the price....
Pls report progress when achieved. Interested in the root cause here. Thanks and best of luck fixing it soon!

Yeah, 100 octane provides zero benefit in our car without a tune as far as I can tell.

The auxiliary coolers I ordered haven't shipped yet, so it'll probably be at least a week before I tear into it.

I'll be sure to report back if and when I figure out the root problem.

Sorry, I didn't ignore your post. It's just I had already responded to reservoir comments in previous posts.

I'm still considering the reservoir, but I don't particularly like the mounting hardware from the ADM kit. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the mounting location over the exhaust header, although I get there aren't many options and GM did exactly the same thing on the other side of the engine.

I assume you have a similar experience, how do you know?

Also, I'm not 100% sure air is the problem. I do find the other posts about it very similar to my experience though.

I'm familiar with how air can be a pain in these systems. In fact I'm probably one of the first on the forum with experience on the 6th Gen Camaro. Here's a post I created about it on October, 2016
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=21

I've listened to the lines with a stethoscope, and I couldn't hear any noise from air. Also, I ran the pump for a long time and it didn't shut off, which is a good indication that the system is mostly free of air.

Road Atlanta , limp mode
Went to Road Atlanta Sunday for a Chin track day , it was extremely hot in the mid 90s and humid.
The car went into limp mode on my 1st session my second lap in
Code was P00EA on a snap on code reader
(intake air temp (IAT)sensor3 circuit low voltage (system00)

After clearing the code, I went out for the second session and the same result.

Cleared the code again and took it on the street and all was good with a hard full throttle pull thru 4 gears and no code or loss of power .

Session 3 same issue almost immediately went into limp mode (not fun taking half the back strait to pass a Miata lol)

I have the weapon x triple upgraded intercoolers , lower pulley making around 11 lbs of boost, Rotofab big gulp, TM ported throttle body, catch can , headers and green cats with stock muffler.

oil pressure , oil temp and coolant temp were all good . we checked the connections on the rotoscoped fab intake pipe all seemed good?

Drove the car from RA back to Kennesaw ,ran it pretty hard with no issues or code.

Kind of baffeling why it shuts down on track and not on the street, maybe its the longer duration of WOT on the track?

looking to see if someone else has experienced this or knows more about that code and what it actually is that may be throwing it .

Thanks for any help.

this was the post and the issue I had after a track day the reservour alleviated the air pocket issue I was having causing high IAT issues and decreasing power I'm not saying it is your issue but from all of my research this has cured most =problems like you are experiencing
