2018 ZL1 1LE won't start without jump box

My Camaro won't start without a jump box. It'll only do 1, 2 or 3 clicks. Once I connect a jump box it starts easily. My battery is new. Anyone have common reasons? Thank you all to those who help.

Check the connection on the starter and your ground wire from the battery.

check connections at the battery...the weird connections on the top posts may not be tight or contacting properly...

+++++1 on this.

I had issues starting my 2018 and it turned out to be a loose positive cable connection at the battery.

I take out the battery every year for winter storage. When I put it back this year I didn’t connect the positive terminal fully.

It’s a weird setup GM used to lock the positive terminal on to the battery post. Mine wasn’t fully seated so I would get random no starts and check engine lights for the parking brake.

Once I addressed the battery terminal, all issues went away.

Don’t count on the fact that you may not have removed battery. Someone at the dealership or at the assembly plant could have made the same mistake I made when installing the battery.

Is there a grounds diagram? I wanted to look at all of the grounds.
