Borla 60606 discontinued... Alternatives?
I've tried to order a Borla 60606 off ebay for the last couple days and nobody has it in stock so they all cancel my order. I'm not paying the nearly $800 price tag plus taxes on Amazon for something I should be able to get for under $600. Anyone know where ones available for a reasonable price or have an alternative system? I really wanted to delete the 2nd cats and keep the factory NPP exhaust. Car is an 18 SS 1LE.
Thanks. |

A good muffler shop should be able to just weld in new pipes in their place or Corsa offers a similar package but it is pricier ($800+).

We have the Corsa system on our site on sale with code CAMARO6. Or we recommend to bite the bullet and get long tubes. That's where the real power and rumble comes into play. You can get a decent set for about the same price

I tried using the CAMARO6 code but it says invalid. I tried it in all caps and all lowercase.

I just want to bump this up. Is the Corsa Double X pipe an actual alternative? Do we have any sound clips of just the Corsa bolted up to the NPP muffler?
Also, how about the Flowmaster scavenger Xpipe. Does that get rid of the secondary cats? Are there any sound clips of that bolted up to the stock NPP muffler? I'm trying to replace the mid pipe, but retain the stock muffler so that I can prevent drone and cut down on the costs.

While we're on the topic, can anyone in VA confirm if they've had issues passing our insane emissions tests with a system like this (deleting secondary cats)?

Man, that's what I get for waiting. Because now I believe you need to get both 60663 and 60607 to have a Borla midpipe and delete the secondary cats.

I have some leftover parts of my 60606 that I might be putting up for sale here soon. I've got the secondary delete pipes and the mid pipes that sit in the transmission tunnel but I did however have to use and modify the x-pipe portion to bolt up to my Tsp headers. If anybody in this thread is interested PM me and I'll send you some pics of what I have left.

So I might have a guy who can recreate that exact system, doing a custom fabrication. Would I be better off going with an H pipe or an X pipe?
