Mine already had the front plate holder installed, I changed out the lower grill with a SEMA lower grill. I was going to do it either way as I like the look of it better than the stock one.

When I removed my front plate (pop rivets) I ended up getting some painted to match plugs from these guys looks good and not super noticeable from a short distance.
Here is a pic with the bumper plugs installed.
