Super misleading pricing. Lots of dealers like this usually have every incentive built in, like conquest, down payment assistance, Gm card bonus, etc. You've got to call and see what you qualify for and most people don't qualify for all of it.

Correct... I did qualify for all but one incentive.

I just bought my 18' SS 1LE from Bob Bell. This car (car in the link above) and my car were both on the lot, same options and price. The $36,615 price is with every discount and incentive GM offered. I got mine for $38,615, I didn't qualify for this incentive (I needed to currently own or have owned a mustang).

I did not want to wait until the 1LE dealer inventory dried up. The deal I got motivated me to move on it. There will be a few left on lots that some lucky people will snap up with deeper discounts than I got at some point soon.

Yeah, but usually you can negotiate them down to the advertised price or close to it. I use USAA car buying process (Truecar plus additional 500 off) which is usually the same or lower than those advertised prices. That's how I bought my 1LE. Was only one dealer 50 miles from me that was willing to honor the price though. Luckily they had what I wanted.

One thing most of the dealers I've seen from northern Virginia up is they don't include destination charge in the price. I work for a dealer and still can't get over the games dealers still play. The zipcode you live in also affects your price. One of our local dealers has been advertising strong discounts like this 1LE they've had a while http://www.sirwalter.com/VehicleDeta...-NC/3181556983 Maybe I should drive one to see if I really like it that much better than my 1SS.

I send multiple dealers emails and ask for the 'out the door' price, everything including tax. That way you're comparing apples to apples. I bought my 1SS 1LE last month for about $41,500 including tax and everything. I thought it was a pretty good deal.

I got $3000 in incentives and they discounted the car $3000 off MSRP. That was my $6000 off...

I caution you to do any business with that dealer. They were rude, and didn't want to honor their advertised price. FYSA

Guess it just depends on how desperate the dealership is, got mine for 38,250 + TTL, no haggling. I should've offered less lol

That's what I paid too last October. Were no incentives except GM military cash $500. Tge rest was all dealer discounts to meet my out the door price. Salesman got fired the next day though. Lol

You can tell you got a good deal when the salesman and manager are not as happy as they were when you got there.

Those kind of discounts are a double edged sword. Good news for the buyers out there and I bought mine at a similar sort of pricing structure.

But - that is bad news for anyone who may want to trade in their 1LE because unless you bought yours at a lowball price like that, you are going to take a blood bath on trade in value with new cars selling for 25% or more off MRSP.
