Sorry for the confusion. And yes, I refer to days as "events" as I don't attend 2-3 day events. I will start calling them days

I checked my Gen 5 ZL1 2 piece rotors, 8mm socket for both the nut and bolt.

Anyone have a good method for getting enough torque on the caliper-knuckle bolts to loosen and tighten them? I saw it's 140 ft-lbs. Seems tough to torque that much in the constrained wheel well on jack stands. I don't think my wrench would even fit.

Guys that have done it said they used a 2 foot breaker bar or a mid to high torque cordless impact wrench

For the J6M brakes the caliper-knuckle bolts are:
First Pass: 150 N-m (111 lb ft)
Final Pass: 15-30 degrees

and they have red thread locker on them or the dry factory equivalent

Two foot breaker sounds like a lift is needed then. Or the impact

I have 11570092 as the SS 1LE and ZL1 front caliper bolts. I can confirm the J6M and J6H calipers use the same caliper mounting bolts.

Thanks for that!

I’m adding it to the ‘brake pad’ thread that is stickied.

So will these fit our cars with the 6 Pistons Brembo’s https://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brak...oModClar=Coupe
?

They seem to have the same part number but include the hats.

C7Z rotors should fit, you just ditch the hats.

Those that have ran the DBA T3 5000 front rotor rings, are they better than stock? After 14 track days I think my fronts are done.

New stock rings with hat are $329 from Rock Auto
DBA T3 5000 rotor rings are $355 from KNS Brakes

What about the rears, stay with stock?

I'm now getting vibrations during braking with these. I can feel grooves and cracks with my fingernail
