Well...that was weird.
For reference, I have no mods (aside from a VTC throttle controller).
I have a 2LS, so it's "manual" mode just picks a top gear, but leaves the transmission to select a gear below that. I was making a left from a stop, in "M3", when my Camaro did that thing where it seems to want to downshift mid turn, so you get a drop in power then a jolt...but when it dropped in RMP, the car stalled. I never had an automatic stall before. It was weird because there was no crazy warning lights like this car does with other events. Just no power, like cars I used to know. The truck coming up behind me didn't like this very much. I shut for a moment, start back up, and head off to work. On the way home, things got more weird. T/C was off, and I was again making a left, but a different left. I wasn't at a full stop, and I was in M2 rolling, went to M1, made my turn, and (instead of stalling) Service Stabilitrak lit up along with the T/C. No check engine. Okay, I pull over, but it's a bad spot to pull over, so I only shut briefly. When I start back up, the lights are still on...and my tachometer doesn't move. The car drove...not like in "low power" mode, but like it wanted to stay in higher gears (in low RPMs). I eventually can pull over, give it a minute or three off, then I go to start....and it won't start! It strained like the battery was dying. Okay. Give it a moment, try again, and everything is fine. I drove back home the remaining few miles without incident. Does this sound like anything anyone has heard of before? Sure, it could have been my driving, but this series of events was a first for me regardless of how I drive.

Try driving without the vtc controller and see if that's the issue. It is your only mod. There has been issues known on the forums.

Good point. I've had issue with it before, but thought I have been avoiding it by way of letting my car warm up for a bit each morning. Seems to have helped with that specific issue. This is new. I'd probably have removed it by now it if it was easier for me to get a good grip on the harness.

More VTC issues reported than before? I haven't been on here much the past few months.

That's why I never just jump out there and but any electronic gadgets when they first come out. Some people had problems & some didn't. But a lot of them were returned for a refund.
